16세 래퍼 로얄포포, 영앤리치 레코즈 합류

16세 래퍼 로얄포포가 수퍼비가 수장으로 있는 힙합 레이블 영앤리치 레코즈에 합류했다. 4일 소속사는 "여섯번째 멤버로 2005년생 16세 래퍼 ‘Royal 44’(로얄포포)와 계약을 체결했다"고 알렸다. 그는 작년 7월 불과 15세의 나이에 ‘Human Chandelier’(휴먼 샹들리에)라는 곡으로 데뷔한 실력파 신예 래퍼이다. 로얄포포는 영앤리치 레코즈 입단과 동시에 디지털 싱글 ‘Volcanic Eruption’(볼캐닉 이럽션)을 발매했다. 이번 신보는 총 2개의 트랙으로 이루어져 있으며 첫번째 트랙은 타이틀곡 ‘New King’(뉴킹)으로 ‘Royal44(로얄포포)’와 Lean$moke가 프로듀싱 한 곡이고 두번째 트랙 ‘Woah’(워)는 ‘Royal44’(로얄포포)와 ‘Liam K’가 함께 프로듀싱 하였다. 새로운 소식을 전한 로약포포는 “나는 rookie가 아니라 new king이다. 내 음악은 직접 들어보면 알 수 있다”라 고 당찬 포부를 전했다. 영앤리치 레코즈에는 수퍼비, 언에듀케이티드 키드, 트웰브, 유시온, 호미 등이 속해 있다. 황지영기자 hwang.jeeyoung@jtbc.co.kr 2021.01.04 10:29
